ShipWeaver Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ShipWeaver Shopify application ("ShipWeaver", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). By installing or using ShipWeaver, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use the App.
1. Description of Service
ShipWeaver is a Shopify application that allows merchants to customize how shipping options appear during checkout.
The App enables merchants to:
- hide shipping methods
- rename shipping methods
- reorder shipping methods
- sort shipping methods
- apply conditional rules to shipping options
These modifications affect how delivery options are displayed to customers in Shopify checkout.
ShipWeaver does not provide shipping services, logistics services, or delivery guarantees.
2. Eligibility
You may use ShipWeaver only if:
- you operate a Shopify store
- you are authorized to install apps for that store
- you comply with Shopify's Terms of Service
By installing the App, you represent that you have the authority to bind the store owner to these Terms.
3. Merchant Responsibilities
You are responsible for configuring rules within ShipWeaver.
Because the App modifies how shipping options are presented to customers, you acknowledge that:
- incorrect rule configurations may hide or modify shipping options
- this may affect your customers' checkout experience
- this may affect shipping availability or cost presentation
You are solely responsible for verifying that your rules behave as intended.
ShipWeaver is not responsible for merchant misconfiguration or business decisions regarding shipping rules.
4. Shopify Platform Dependency
ShipWeaver operates using Shopify APIs and Shopify checkout features.
We do not control:
- Shopify platform availability
- Shopify API behavior
- Shopify checkout functionality
- Shopify infrastructure outages
If Shopify changes its APIs, policies, or platform behavior, certain features of ShipWeaver may be affected.
We are not liable for interruptions or changes caused by Shopify.
5. Subscription and Billing
ShipWeaver may offer free and paid subscription plans.
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system.
By subscribing to a paid plan:
- you authorize Shopify to charge your Shopify account
- billing is handled according to Shopify's billing policies
Unless otherwise stated:
- subscriptions renew automatically
- charges are non-refundable once billed
You may cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the app or canceling through Shopify.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of ShipWeaver is also governed by our Privacy Policy. If required by applicable data protection laws, merchants may rely on ShipWeaver's Data Processing Agreement.
ShipWeaver collects only the data necessary to operate the application, such as:
- store identifiers
- rule configuration data
- Shopify API authentication tokens
ShipWeaver does not collect customer personal information.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ShipWeaver:
- in violation of any laws or regulations
- to interfere with Shopify platform operations
- to disrupt the checkout experience intentionally
- to attempt unauthorized access to the App or its infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend access for misuse.
8. Service Availability
ShipWeaver is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
We do not guarantee:
- uninterrupted operation
- error-free functionality
- continuous availability
Maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, or third-party service disruptions may affect availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipWeaver and its operators shall not be liable for:
- lost profits
- lost revenue
- lost business opportunities
- lost data
- shipping errors
- fulfillment mistakes
- customer dissatisfaction
- indirect or consequential damages
arising from the use or inability to use the App.
ShipWeaver only modifies the display of shipping options and does not control shipping services or delivery outcomes.
Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App during the previous 12 months.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShipWeaver from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from:
- your use of the App
- your configuration of shipping rules
- your violation of these Terms
- your violation of Shopify policies
11. Termination
You may terminate your use of ShipWeaver at any time by uninstalling the App.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- you violate these Terms
- Shopify requires removal
- the App is discontinued
Upon termination, all stored merchant data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to the Service
We may modify, improve, or discontinue features of ShipWeaver at any time.
We may also update these Terms periodically.
If we update the Terms, we will update the "Last Updated" date.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Georgia.
